  1. The firmware update eliminates the possibility of having the camera take repeated images non-stop.
  2. The camera can be placed into this mode under the following circumstances:
    a) The camera is communicating using the CS I/O port.
    b) An error occurs during communications that results in the processor resetting the PLD.
    c) An external trigger or self-timed event occurs after the PLD reset but before communications are completed.
  3. Users who are using CS I/O communications in applications that are solar-powered will particularly want to perform this update to prevent a possible battery discharge due to the continuous operating current from the camera.
