Hello,
Anybody can help me with the following?
I have a R.M. Young 81000 3D wind sensor and I want to connect it to a Campbell CR6 datalogger.
I want to configure the R.M. Young 81000 for the following setting:
- Serial Output: Half-duplex RS-485 at 38400 Bauds.
- Output Rate: 32 Hz.
- ASCII Text Serial String:
- Wind Speed - 3D (m/s).
- Direction (Deg).
- Elevation (Deg).
- Chksum.
------------------
In fact is that I have not idea on how programming the Campbell. In regards to the wiring I have an idea on how connect the sensor to the CR6 datalogger. I just need to connect the A1 and B1 terminals from the Young sensor to a pair of terminals C on the CR6 datalogger (This control terminals can capture RS-485).
What I need is the following:
- Capture and store the sensor readings (half-duplex RS-485 at 38400 bauds, 32 Hz output rate) with a timestamp (UTC) in the internal memory of the datalogger.
- Every hour, create a log-file with all measurements stored in the internal memory and copy it to a microSD memory card (this datalogger has this external memory card).
- Send the log-file from the microSD to a FTP server.
- All instantaneous measurements can be read by Telnet TCP/IP (This datalogger has an Ethernet port).
---------
It does not matter if the program does not have everything I need, but with a basic program or some ideas will help me with what I need.
Well, I would really appreciate your help.
Many Thanks,
Franky
