I have an NL241 connected to a CR1000 via the CS I/O port. I am trying to connect the NL241 to our WIFI using the device configuration utility, but devconfig does not see the direct usb connection on a win10 laptop. Should I be able to connect to the NL241 via usb when it's directly connected to a CR1000 via the CS I/O port? I don't see any options other than Com1 ibn the devconfig utility even when there's a direct usb connection to the NL241. Any insight into why would be appreciated.
Yes, the NL241 USB port works with CS I/O connected to a datalogger.The NL241 does need 12V power for the USB interface to work. That can either be through CS I/O or the 12V input on the NL241. Power to the datalogger needs to be on for the NL241 to receive power through CS I/O.
